Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard

Our vintage apple orchard lies below Wilshire Peak in Oak Glen, Ca. A lot of Riley’s now live and work in this eastern part of the glen. We got our start in the late seventies when my folks, Dennis and Sharon Riley, purchased part of the original Wilshire farm and began homesteading. My wife and I now maintain our orchard of century old apple trees of the Stayman Winesap variety near Oak Glen Road. During the autumn season, we offer u-pick apples as well as u-pick blackberries in the old alder grove. Every year we enjoy the return of visitors to our farm with their families for a country outing. We also take our farm on the road to school campuses, classrooms and other venues for historical programs featuring homesteading skills in the American experience. Feel free to contact us for more information- 909-435-5324
